I am unsure if I can upload a photo of the book cover and the recipe - it is on page 117, "Sugo Fresco di Pomodoro" (Simple Tomato Sauce). Thank you for your writing and ideas.
End of Pasta Pasta is left-over fluvial gold. Having read (and will ever love) Small Fires I wonder if you ever found the original text by Marcella quoted by Ruth and devoured, experienced, experimented, augmented and endlessly re-made by yourself. I found the exact original recipe in 'Marcella's Kitchen', first published by MacMillan London 1987 UK. The edition I have was published by Papermac (division of MacMillan) in 1988 ISBN 0-333-47336-1. A treasure given to me by my mother in 1988. Kia ora Rebecca (be well), ngā mihi nāku noa Fi from Aotearoa.
thank you fi! I found multiple versions of the marcella recipe in different books - I don't think I have Marcella's Kitchen! I have Marcella Cucina - I will look this one up. and huge thanks for the words of appreciation, very motivating as I write my next book

Ursula is so adventurous! You are doing a great job (hope the nursery bug was short lived) x
We have lots of photos of breakfast where the porridge is everywhere but in the baby’s mouth!
ha, well there have also been lots of things we make thinking she'll love them that mostly end up on the floor !
and thank you the bug was over quickly!
amazing
